Financial Analyst

Serve as M&A financial analyst, focusing on financial/accounting due diligence and post acquisition integration services.

Critical deliverables include pre-investment and post-investment accounting/financial due diligence, and post-investment portfolio company monitoring. The successful candidate will also effectively interface with internal and external constituencies.

Working closely with team members, the candidate will utilize and deploy valuation and transaction knowledge gained from prior experience at either a M&A-focused Big 4 or consulting firm; candidates with solely public accounting experience will also be considered.

Successful candidates possess strong analytical skills and fastidious attention to detail.

All candidates must be willing to travel up to 30%.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Accounting/financial Due Diligence
: Perform pre-investment business, financial and operational due diligence in connection with equity buy-outs, senior and subordinated debt financings. Present due diligence findings to equity sponsors and debt clients during formal and informal transaction decision meetings.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Will have an accounting background with 2-4 years of experience, in roles of increasing scope and responsibility.

Public accounting experience is desirable; mixture of public and private as well as financial consulting and advisory is also acceptable.

Experience analyzing and presenting financial information;

High proficiency in Excel, Powerpoint and financial modeling;

Confident, engaging personality, who is comfortable speaking with C level management and senior investment professionals,

Evidence of a creative, ambitious and forward thinking mind; pragmatic and highly results oriented;

Unquestionable personal and business integrity that will reflect favorably on the company internally and externally;

High level of intellectual 'horsepower';
