Job Description

Job Functions:

Collaborate on security improvements to systems, networks and applications by assessing current solution, performing gap assessment, anticipating future requirements, and providing actionable recommendations

Understanding of network architecture and concepts, application architecture, and interoperability of these architectures with one another

Possess knowledge of cloud, application, identity and access management, end user device, and web services security controls, configurations, and best practices

Develop standards, knowledge base articles, and architecture whitepapers

Engage internal and external stakeholders to identify gaps in vulnerability, IT risk and threat management, and develop innovative solutions to close identified gaps

Work with development teams to ensure that new features are designed securely

Champion secure development practices and lead implementation of fixing code security issues

Participate in incident response activities and provide forensics data or guidance as needed

Job Duties:

Ability to work independently

Ability to communicate clearly and concisely

Work with IT and Business operations to promote and educate on service capabilities

Direct technological research by studying organization goals, strategies, best practices, and user projects

Complete projects by coordinating resources and timetables with user departments and data
center

Recommend information technology strategies, policies, and procedures by evaluating organization outcomes; identifying problems; evaluating trends; anticipating requirements

Maintain quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards

Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-
of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies

Practice and promote teamwork at all times. Make sure all area conditions so not threaten employee safety. Respond to and follow proper procedures on employee accidents, injuries, and loss or damage to any property. Report all incidents immediately. Practice and instruct all employees in proper loss prevention and reaction procedures.

Educational Requirements & Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent related experience required

7+ years of related IT experience required

Expert-level knowledge of web application security issues

Programming experience

Certifications in related field are strongly desired

CISSP, GIAC, CISM, CISA, and/or CCNA etc. strongly desired
