Software Engineer

Colorado Springs, CO

Seven-Month Contract

$40 - $55/hr.

Are you a cross-functional Software Engineer with experience developing network management solutions for telecommunication companies? This may be the perfect role for you.

Our client located in Colorado Springs needs a Software Engineer to join their team in building solutions for physical and software-driven networks on virtualized platforms.

Prior knowledge of VOIP, Data and Transport Networks a plus. Join a Fortune 500 company and jump on a lucrative project slated for the next seven months.

Job Functions:

- Responsible for design and development of Network Management Solutions for both physical and software-driven networks on virtualized platforms - Next Gen Network Devices such as NG-ROADM, NG-PON, IP & VOIP.

- Implementation of solutions architecture through building micro components/services.

- Custom designing, ensuring technical integrity and alignment with the business.

- Utilization of open-source tools & building knowledge of current technology that will benefit the team and organization

- Identify, analyze, recommend and implement improvement in system archictectures - promoting the reuse of components.

Requirements:

- BS in Info Systems, Computer Science or related field and/or 5 years of experience

- Java, HTML, JSP & Javascript experience - a mixture okay - all a huge plus. Must have Java & JSP.

- SQL, XML & Oracle (or other relational DB) experience

- Working knowledge of Weblogic (JBOSS)
