Job Description
Currently, we are seeking qualified candidates for a Network Engineer opening to join our Information Technology organization.
What You Will Do
Perform primary support for the Global Cisco based wide area, local area and wireless infrastructure
Support both voice and video traffic carried over the IP network
Support the Cisco based firewall infrastructure
Perform approved changes in the network environment as needed
Design and implement long term global WAN architecture including business required redundancy
Design and implement local area network configurations for new or moved offices as needed
Support Lifesize video conferencing environment
Configure network quality of service for Lync voice calling, SIP and video conferencing
Participate in a team performing a proof of concept with Microsoft Office 365 service
Work with telecom service providers to provision and support wide area voice and data services
What You Need To Succeed
Bachelor's degree in related field preferred
Cisco Certified Network Associate certification preferred
Five plus years of experience in supporting Cisco equipment delivering WAN, LAN, and
Wireless network connectivity
Five plus years of experience in supporting Cisco firewall infrastructure
Experience configuring IP networks to successfully support Voice over IP calling
Experience architecting Intrusion Detection and Prevention environment and configuring network devices for security log aggregation
Demonstrated skill in troubleshooting technical issues, determining root causes and
implementing resolutions
Experience supporting operations with a global footprint
Willingness to work directly with end users to troubleshoot and resolve network issues
Knowledge and experience support Microsoft and other DNS and DHCP environments
Actively seeks out and supports collaborative thinking and problem solving with others in the organization
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with technical and non-technical contacts
Must be highly organized and detail oriented
Must be a self-starter
Exceptional analytical and problem solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities to deliver results
