The Position:

The Java Solutions Developer will be designing/developing/creating a working product from scratch to meet customers’ specifications.

The Solutions Developer must have knowledge and skills that are both broad and deep.

Writing software code is one of the job’s most identifiable components, but developers have many other responsibilities, including taking part in researching, design, implementing, testing, debugging the software, maintaining and enhancements once it’s in production.

This is a "client facing’ role that will require direct communication with customers for requirements, problems and potential solutions.

Collaboration is an integral part of the job, as developers frequently consult and take direction from management, clients, and other developers to solve technical challenges and determine the requirements of the software system.

Requirements:

5+ years of solid Java development fundamentals including a good understanding of data structures, algorithms, and design patterns

B2B and/or SaaS development experience is NOT required but the desire to do it is mandatory

Strong problem solving skills with effective team/collaboration skills

A breadth of knowledge with some expertise in multiple domains

Experience writing applications of several types

Distributed systems experience

Provide quality assurance for services within the solution area

Knowledge of relational database schemas

Web-based user experience and development with JavaScript and Angular is a plus but not the focus of this role

Salesforce.com integration experience is a plus but not required
