Job Description

CITRIX ENGINEER

Seeking an experienced Citrix Engineer to join a growing legal organization.

The Citrix Engineer will be responsible for maintaining the application virtualization environment for various eDiscovery platforms and will be key to providing quick response and resolution to all internal and client-facing issues regarding the Citrix environment.

The Citrix Engineer will work directly with the infrastructure team so that any problems can be resolved and all system needs are met, as well as provide on-site system administration and end-user support for all Review Centers and offer targeted support for eDiscovery client end-user devices.

You will provide end-user support by troubleshooting problems related to the delivery of in-house developed and 3rd party supported applications used in the virtualized environments, which includes all production, test and development environments for on-site and remote users. Act as the SME for any escalated issues.

Responsibilities:

Provide 3rd Level of support for all Citrix Services

Deploy new Citrix environments as well maintain existing Citrix Infrastructure and support documentation

Maintains existing Citrix systems and collaborates with peers to test and upgrade Citrix technologies. Proactively recommend enhancements.

Train L1 and L2 Support Teams in order to maintain focus on environment upkeep

Maintains documentation of the Citrix virtualization environment

Contributes to configuration, change, incident, and problem management processes and standard operating procedures.

Proactively recommends changes and enhancements to improve service quality.

Perform problem determination and analysis in failure cases. Apply diagnostic tools. Recommend changes to avoid reoccurring problems.

Create and maintain up-to-date user and technical documentation.

Stays up-to-date with vendor & market development.

Requirements:

BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent

7+ years direct experience supporting Windows 2008/2012

5+ years' experience supporting Citrix XenApp

4+ years' experience supporting Provisioning Services

3+ years' experience supporting Netscaler Access Gateway, and Multi-factor technologies including PingID/RSA.

Certification in Citrix (CCA required, CCE preferred)

Solid networking foundation for troubleshooting connectivity issues between three-tiered systems and external client sites.

Administration of the virtualization technologies in the eDiscovery environment: Citrix XenApp, PVS, Netscaler

Collaborate effectively with eDiscovery application and hosting teams to optimize infrastructure and deployment of new technologies.

Strong communication skills (written, verbal, presentation, and facilitation)

Maintains high quality standards and attention to detail in work product

Ability to perform in a self-directed manner, and to multi-task.

Aptitude to learn quickly and to rapidly apply feedback.

Responsive and able to deliver the highest level of customer service

Ability to work well both independently and to work collaboratively in teams.
