Development Manager

$120,000-$150,000 / year

Description:

Building new software functionality into our custom application platform.

Working with business stakeholders to define software development projects.

Collaborating with IT architecture team to ensure solutions are aligned with our target architecture.

Communicate and engage with internal and external customers deliver software projects.

Providing leadership for the development team on assigned projects and fostering a high performing team.

Keeping senior IT management apprised of project statuses as well as the general technical health important to Robinson Fresh business concerns.

Overseeing the career development, performance, and compensation of the Robinson Fresh software development and support teams.

Forging strong relationships across global IT and Robinson Fresh office personnel.

Ensuring that Robinson Fresh office personnel's technical incidents are being serviced according to our service level agreements.

Qualifications:

Experienced in custom software development leadership with a heavy background in development. (preferably on Microsoft Stack).

Successful track record of leading software development teams.

Effective communication skills both inside and outside of IT.

Experience delivering business critical software functionality.

Software Development Management experience, focused on building high-performance, scalable and robust systems in a complex, multi-tiered, distributed environment.

Experienced in Agile methodology.

Hands-on in many technologies, front-end, UI, middle, back-end.

Extensive experience communicating other technical teams and senior management, in order to describe features, explain designs, and articulate strategies.
