Job Description

Java Architect- Team Lead

Architect/Tech Lead will be accountable for strategic architecture design and implementation of Intelligence and Analytics platform.

Responsibilities:

Perform overall architecture review of the existing platform

Lead the overall redesign of the current database and data integration infrastructure.

Evaluate and recommend best of the bread tools to address growing transactional volumes and reporting needs

Provide mentoring for team members, implement controls and best practice for warehouse development discipline

Actively engage subject matter experts to gather requirements

Set direction for ETL, big data and report and visualization tools

Capture, report and escalate risks and issues as soon as identified

Experience:

10+ years of experience in Warehouse, Data Visualization and big data architecture

Strong knowledge of sequel\ DB, Hadoop, GraphDBs, ETL tools (e.g. Informatica) and release management

Strong technical background and hands-on experience in building enterprise-wide data warehouse solutions.

Ability to work multiple initiatives and work streams at one time in a global environment

Ability to develop and maintain strong collaborative relationships at all levels across IT and Business Stakeholders

Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and deal with urgent requests in a fast-paced and demanding environment
