SENIOR GRAPHIC DESIGNER

North Dallas, TX

$60k - $75k

We are hiring for a Senior Graphic Designer, preferably with restaurant industry experience!

This position will be responsible for creating, designing and producing advertising content and materials in line with the brand strategy and parameters.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Utilizes design software applications to create and produce print and digital graphics for marketing, advertising, promotional, training materials, signage, corporate communications, and other requested creative; as requested, completes a variety of corporate and franchise customization requests or design collateral campaigns and promotions.

Effectively conceptualize, design, and create high-quality custom visuals for print and web.

Conceptualizes, designs and creates icons, typography, graphical user interfaces.

Creates visual designs and user interface designs that address business, brand, market, and user requirements, including design and production of screen layouts, color palettes,
typography, and interface elements.

Collaborates within a matrix organizational structure to create corporate and franchisee design elements for in and out of restaurant use, and internal brand communications.

Collaborates with resources engaged in design, illustration, photography, production, film and printing to ensure timely preparation and completion of high quality products.

Researches and presents to management creative options to ensure a balance of quality, price, and service; directs creative and/or vendor resources, as necessary.

Coordinates the production of food photography at product shoots; produces concept drawings and obtains approvals prior to shoot; directs food stylists and photographers on product look and build; gives recommendations on photography and recommends final photos
to be used.

Prepares electronic design files for output by appropriate vendor resources; effectively maintains file archives to ensure ease of retrieval for future use. Initiates service requests and technical support as needed.

Works effectively with internal team and maintains concept brand image.

REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent, preferably in Graphic Design, Interactive/Digital

Design, Art or related field. .

5+ years related graphic design experience Agency, studio, or comparable in-house
experience in advertising and collateral design required.

Experience with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign and PowerPoint required.

Food or restaurant design experience required

Proficient in preparing documents for outside vendor interface and output of files to film, color output devices and other mediums

Proficient in the use of Macintosh design environments, in MS Office Suite and possess an effective working knowledge of: Flash/HTML, Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop in
Macintosh format.

Beginner to Intermediate Adobe Flash and/or HTML5 animations.

Knowledge of action scripting helpful.

Excellent verbal and written English communication and interpersonal skills required.

Strong attention to detail, prioritization, and organizational skills are essential.

Able to handle multiple projects concurrently and accurately record time spent on different projects with experience receiving design feedback and revision requests
