Job Description

Position Overview:

The SQL Developer is responsible for SQL database design and application development at our company.

This candidate will work with and support the global IT team to develop and manage ERP, E-Commerce and Data Warehouse / Business Intelligence systems.

Essential Job Functions:

Create and maintain SSIS packages to support ETL processes.

Create SQL Server Reports using SSRS

SQL Database administration as required to support projects

Support B.I. initiatives utilizing SQL data warehouses & B.I. tools such as Tableau

Develop web-based E-commerce applications using Apache Web Server & PHP with a Microsoft SQL database

Qualifications/Skills Required:

4-year degree + 2 years of experience or Associates + 5 years of experience

Great communication skills & ability to work independently on broad-scale projects

Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and
Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).

Experience with Tableau or other B.I. tools preferred

Experience with SyteLine or Mongoose Development preferred

SQL Server 2008/2010/2012, database administration, database tuning, database management, database security is preferred

Knowledge of indexes, index management, and statistics.

Experience in implementing operational automation using scripts
