Job Description
Requirements Analyst (Washington, DC)
Responsibilities:
Work alongside and support the Lead Requirements Analyst
Validate, prioritize, phase, enter, race, and maintain all requirements for the client database in a Requirements Management System (RMS) to be approved by the client
Ensure that the requirements documented in the RMS are:
Accurate, complete, and consistent
Articulated and organized to support Requirements Management and Requirements
Traceability through the full systems lifecycle
Testable
Identified as legacy capabilities or new requirements
Approved by the client before entry into the RMS
Qualifications:
*A Public Trust Clearance or being able to obtain A Public Trust Clearance
Required Experience:
Five (5) or more years of experience developing business and functional requirements
Experience with enterprise, complex application development projects involving legacy
system modernization, multi-security domain integration, and customized COTS solutions
Experience developing requirements for applications developed in J2EE and .Net
Experience developing requirements under an Agile methodology
Proven collaborative abilities
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Experience:
Previous experience working with the Department of Commerce
Education and Training:
Bachelor's Degree
Professional certification in Agile development, business analysis, or business process improvement
Registration Analyst
Information Technology
