Senior Developer
Responsibilities
Implement technical solutions, which cater to the Fixed Income eTrading around Auto-
Quoting, Auto-Hedging, Strategy development, Smart order routing and Execution
Produce high quality code which is functional and maintainable.
Maintain and improve the applications
Participate in the development process for gathering requirements, implementing and releasing applications.
Improve and maintain existing code, procedures and systems.
Impart knowledge and benefit of experience to other members of the team.
Work with FO Traders, e-Trading quants and SME’s
Talk to the business sponsors and business analysts and QA
Assist the first line support team in supporting the applications
Requirements
Java Server Side Development
Multi threading Concurrent Applications
Messaging eg, Solace, 29West
DevOps tools
Unix shell scripts
SQL
ION MarketView, Broadway
CEP eg Streambase, Progress APAMA or Esper ( Nice to have)
Self starter
Needs to be always looking for improvements to all aspects of development process.
Able to communicate ideas and take on board the ideas of others.
