SENIOR VISUAL UX DESIGNER

The Position:

The Senior UX Designer should be able to mentor a team of UX Designers and Visual Designers across the globe, while remaining hands on in UX Design themselves.

The team will be working on an platform aimed at evolving traditional business intelligence applications into state of the art information access systems with the ability to search and retrieve information from enterprise databases, reporting engines, document repositories standard web applications and other forms of content.

The platform is to be delivered on Web and Mobile delivery channels with support for standard reports, dashboards and self-service tools to create custom views.

The Senior UX Designer will help build a team of innovative and enthusiastic technologists to accomplish this game changing corporate goal! We need a proven leader in development and delivery of technology projects with 5+ years of experience in software development leadership, specializing in Visual/UX Design.

The Senior UX Designer will design the Risk and Finance dashboard application that provides management data to senior management.

The Senior Visual UX Designer will collaboratively work with the business owners and development teams to translate sometimes vague or complex concepts into viable interactive solutions, matching innovative thinking with equally innovative execution.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree required, preferably in interaction design, graphic arts or another design-related field

Management/Leadership experience is preferred

7+ years experience as a hands-on Visual or UX Designer

5+ years experience designing user interfaces (preferably in financial industry or another industry where users have a high degree of technical knowledge)

5+ years experience applying brand visual design and content guidelines consistently across several different products

5+ years experience designing applications for print and web/mobile environments

Experience with a variety of design tools such as Balsamiq, Axure, Omnigraffle, Visio, Fireworks, Illustrator and Photoshop
