Job Description

SUMMARY OF POSITION:

This position performs analysis, diagnostics, development, report writing, and testing in supporting the Company's information technology needs.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Develop program specifications, analyze and resolve problems; and provide support for all computer applications.

• Extensive interaction with clinical and operational user groups to translate business needs into functional and technical specifications.

• Responsible for IT support and development, custom applications, reports, data mining, custom software, ERP support.

• Internet, Intranet, and Windows Development.

• Manages or leads various phases of the development and maintenance of approved projects.

• Performs or reviews system analysis, design, programming, testing, debugging, and documentation for assigned projects.

• Leads or participates in process improvement.

• Investigates replacing current systems with new systems and analyzes the adaptability of current operations; technical equipment and software vendors and current users are consulted in these evaluations.

• Participates on project teams for assigned system projects; analyzes improvements and new applications and develops requirements and specifications with team.

• Helps develop specification, program and documentation standards.

• Performs other related duties as required to accomplish the objectives of the position.

DESIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

They must have good oral and written communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills.

Good problem solving skills and the ability to prioritize multiple projects.

Must be very customer service oriented.

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.

• Minimum of five years relevant experience

• Experience with the following preferred: SQL database development with T-SQL, crystal reports, MS Office including Access and Excel, VB.Net, ASP.NET development, SharePoint, JavaScript/HTML.

• Microsoft Development Certification a plus.
