Responsibilities Accounts Payable Processing Code invoices to the appropriate expense or accrual account and related worktags Work with vendors to resolve invoice discrepancies Interact regularly with internal personnel both in accounting and other departments Coordinate the payment of checks with the bank through the positive pay process Prepare wire transfer instructions for certain vendor payments Create and maintain a schedule of period end accruals Regular and ad hoc reporting of expense and payment information Create 1099's annually for vendors Gather information and create journal entries Reconcile account balances Analyze financial statement information and account activity Work with internal auditor to ensure compliance with the requirements of Section 404 of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act as it relates to accounts payable and other responsibilities of the position Qualifications Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance preferred At least 3 years of accounts payable, general ledger entry and reconciliation experience preferred Experience using Workday or other accounting software Strong communication skills, both written and oral
