Manager Trust Operations

Responsibilities

Balance and reconcile Trust Portal/TrustRite system on a daily, monthly and annual basis –ensuring accurate and timely processing of all trust operations transactions and activities.

Post all security related trades, capital structures, splits, dividend reinvestments and capital gain items.

Set-up and fund new accounts ensuring complete receipt of assets; and account closures ensuring complete delivery of assets.

Produce customer statements, audit packages, tax forms, departmental 1099 processing and magnetic media for filing requirements.

Client contact regarding IRA Required Minimum Distributions and oversight of online portal interface.

Prepare management reports as assigned by the department head.

Where necessary, report and take corrective action for any non-compliance incidents.

Assist with all department and bank audits, as it relates to the Trust and Wealth Management Department.

Appropriately assess client and operational issues that need immediate attention and translates problems into practical solutions.

Provides/maintains appropriate levels of controls to minimize possible client impact as well as reputation risk.

Monitors and modifies where necessary, Departmental policies and procedures.

Experience and Education

Bachelor's Degree.

At least 4 years of experience within Trust or Wealth Advisory Administration experience with management or a supervisory capacity.

Experience with FDIC regulatory requirements, banking and accounting functions, including but not limited to trading, investments, reconciliations, demand deposit accounts and electronic fund transfers.

Demonstrated skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)

Must have the ability to learn new software applications quickly.

Must have excellent oral and written communication skills; strong client service orientation.

Maintains personal composure and works effectively in deadline situations.

Experience with Trust Portal/TrustRite accounting software preferred.
