Security Engineer – Incident Response Team
St Paul, MN (Flexible Remote schedule)
6+ month contract with good chance of extension
This large, global and highly reputable organization is looking to add a Lead-level Security Engineer to their Global Incident Response Team.
This Security Engineer will be first line of defense against all incidents directed at the corporate IT platforms and Information Systems.
This team is the focal point for the execution of the response process and coordination of relevant parties when an information security incident occurs.
The team is also responsible for maintaining the preparedness of this client for effective response and for supporting other teams responding to incidents that have peripheral security implications.
Reporting to Director of Security Operations – must be able to communicate effectively to executive leadership during IT Security preparedness and incident solution meetings.
8+ years of technology experience, including troubleshooting and performing root cause analysis of complex IT solutions
2+ recent years of experience working in IT Security Incident Response
1+ years of previous experience in a lead level role
Experience working with security incident management processes and tools
Certifications are ideal: CISA, CISSP, CISM, GIAC
