SUMMARY: The Senior Staff Accountant will be responsible for finance and accounting functions for the company. This position will require excellent communication skills and the ability to adhere to strict reporting deadlines, and a solid understanding of accounting principles. The Senior Staff Accountant key responsibilities will be categorized into the following areas: Forecasting / Budgeting Month Close Process Ledger Event Code Segment Tracking General and Administration Expense Tracking Balance Sheet and Ad-hoc Reports/Analysis Qualifications: Required Qualifications: The Senior Staff Accountant will have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, or a Bachelor’s degree in Business with emphasis in accounting is required CPA Ability to demonstrate success in managing multiple tasks while under tight deadlines Strong Skills in Excel Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing The ability to work as a member of a team Most have excellent work habits, including a willingness to work the hours necessary to get the job done, especially when important deadlines cause greater than normal departmental pressures.
