Senior Application Developer - KDB/Q

Responsibilities:

Design and develop real time web applications for business users to facilitate trading activities.

Improve current processes that store and retrieve transaction data from specialized historical and real time databases.

Perform in-depth analysis on transaction and market data to generate reports for business users.

Experience:

M.S in any quantitative discipline.

5+ years of work experience analyzing large structured and unstructured data sets.

Experience with market data from different data vendors such as NYSE, NSDQ, TRTH, Bloomberg.

Primary technology skills - Kdb/q, Unix shell, Python

C/C++, Java, SQL, HTML/CSS, Java Script, Streambase

Data analytics using kdb+ and Python
