FINANCE MANAGER

Responsibilities:

Analyze PID Operating Company variations from forecasts and prior periods to expose business/financial improvement opportunities in areas such as price increases, channel changes (distributor versus direct), currency fluctuation impacts and exposures, facility rationalizations, acquisition synergies etc.

Provide financial support of financial and statistical requirements associated with the company's annual Strategic and Profit Plan, including corporate requirements.

Regularly provide leadership with key operating statistics and variance analysis including: budgets, forecasts, and key ratios.

Development and modeling of analysis.

Prepare ad hoc analysis and variance reports as required, making extensive use of PC tools as HFM, Business Intelligence (BI) and Excel.

Lead and assist in the continuous improvement, development, modification and implementation of financial systems as necessary. This includes learning and using DBS tools.

Assist in month end reporting and forecasting requirements as required and provide backup on P&L and working capital responsibility reporting.

Requirements:

5+ years of Financial Analyst experience in a fast paced organization

Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance or Accounting

Manufacturing experience preferred

Use of financial reporting tools such as HFM, Oracle, BI and Microsoft Excel to improve productivity in providing informative, timely, and accurate financial presentations.

Ability to quickly learn new systems/tools in order to improve financial modeling, reporting, and presentations.

Ability to recognize effective system setups to maximize user requirements, system simplicity, and minimize future maintenance.

Experience in process improvements with quantifiable results to measure effectiveness.
