Job Description

We are looking for a Construction Accountant to add to a growing team in Boca Raton, FL.
The position will report directly to the Controller and oversee all construction accounting.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Oversee all accounting functions, including general ledger, job costing, and payroll

Prepare all monthly financial reports, to include financial statements and work-in-process reports

Analyze job cost reports and communicate with project management on discrepancies and corrective actions

Budget vs Actual

Coordinate with business partners and prepare required information for annual reviews and audits (CPA, workers comp, general liability)

Experience

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, 3 to 5+ years experience

Percentage-of-completion accounting.

Job Cost and Draw experience

Knowledge of construction accounting software and the ability to quickly learn new information
