Technical Product Owner
Our client is seeking a Technical Product Owner with 2+ years of experience working on a Scrum Team.
The product owner would be responsible for gathering, grooming, and prioritizing user stories for the organization's web development team.
They would be supported by a team of stakeholders as well as the Scrum Master of that development team.
Key responsibilities include:
Define and document user stories in clear, concise language that identifies a definition of done
Maintain clear communication with stakeholders and the development team regarding sprint schedules, estimates, and prioritization of work
Validate completed stories against the definition of done
Lead and participate in meetings including story grooming and sprint planning meetings
Strong communication skills, ability to explain technical requirements, technical knowledge of development and testing to help define scope
Work with Scrum Master to increase transparency through reporting, documentation, and presentations
Proactively manage changes in stakeholder's priorities and their impact on the backlog; identify potential crises and help devise contingency plans
Requirements:
2 years direct work experience on agile scrum teams
Exceptional written, oral communication and interpersonal skills
Experience with project management software or tools, such as Atlassian Jira
Excellent time management skills
CSPO or equivalent certification a plus
Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to think logically and creatively
