Senior HRIS Analyst

Summary:

The Senior HRIS Analyst supports new and existing system functionality for Human Resources.

He/she will lead the implementation and testing of new Human Resources systems and processes and will create queries and reports from all Human Resources systems.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Designs, coordinates and conducts system testing according to requirements, including writing test plans, managing testing processes, and documenting results.

Works closely with Human Resources department to provide support on applicable HR system updates, testing, training, maintenance, documentation, and communication.

Leads initiatives for implementation of new Human Resources systems processes and/or procedures.

Tests new customizations, functional updates/fixes and/or new features.

Develops and modifies new and/or existing HR reports. This would include gathering requirements from end-users, document requirements, and testing of new reports.

Assists with creating, running and distributing statistical reports, regulatory reporting (i.e. Affirmative Action Plan, EEO1, VETS100, etc.) and queries.

Researches best practices and keeps abreast of trends in HRIS development and related business applications to assist business owners in meeting system and process goals.

Consults with other departments to determine their goals and objectives for Human
Resources systems (Peoplesoft, Performance Management, Recruiting, Time & Attendance,
Filing, etc.), provide recommendations for achieving those goals and assist in the
development of such solutions.

Creates and maintains HR Systems procedure documentation and communicate changes in procedures to applicable Human Resources personnel.

Coordinates with internal business owners to identify root causes of and solutions to data integrity issues.

Answers end-user questions and ensures issues are tracked, reported on and resolved in a timely manner.

Perform other related duties as required and assigned.

Education and/or Experience:

Required:

High School diploma or equivalent

A minimum of 4 years of experience in Human Resources information systems working with and supporting PeopleSoft, Time & Attendance, Recruiting and/or other Human Resources systems

Project Management experience (particularly with respect to organization, planning, and
time managements)

Demonstrated experience developing and modifying new and/or existing HR reports or queries

Preferred:

Bachelor's degree

Demonstrated technical and analytical skills within his/her professional background

Demonstrated experience working with a learning management system and/or a benefits administration system

Demonstrated ability to identify the root cause(s) of problems/inefficiencies with Human
Resource systems or processes
