Our Client is an established cloud-to-cloud data protection unicorn headquarter in Norwalk CT. Since established in 2007 they have grown to about 1200 employees with 10 offices around the world with a goal to provide the best possible services at under market prices.

They are currently seeking a senior full stack developer with 5-10+ years' experience to lead and mentor a talented team of developers to develop, design, and implement scalable and future-proof software solutions.

As a Senior Full-Stack Engineer you will participate at all levels of the stack in the creation of scalable, performant software that protects small-businesses at PB scale.

Day to day work includes coding as a Scrum team member, participating in software design and code reviews.

We believe that engineers choose the best tools that work for them: some of our engineers use Mac OS X with Vim; some use Linux with Sublime.

Responsibilities for Senior Full-Stack Engineer:

Participate in the development, design, and implementation of new features

Participate in a fast-paced, Scrum environment

Collaborate with stakeholders and management

Requirements for Senior Full-Stack Engineer:

Experience delivering production software

Strong working knowledge OO programming languages (e.g. PHP, Python, Java, C++, C#, etc.)

Strong computer science fundamentals: data structures and algorithms

Experience with front-end development ecosystem (e.g. HTML, CSS, and JavaScript)

Experience with relational database (e.g. MySQL)

Excellent communication skills

Enjoying learning and be self-motivated with the ability to switch contexts as the needs of the business change

Experience with version control software (e.g. Git, Subversion, etc.)

Knowledge of the MVC Design Pattern

Experience developing in a Linux environment

Experience with API development; RESTful, JSON-RPC, SOAP

Familiarity with development frameworks (Zend, Spring, Symfony, .NET)

Experience with developing software for commercially sold products

A B.S. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
