We are focused on one premier client in Wilmington / Newark Delaware.

Our client is staffing a major project and they are looking for contract to hire and contract roles.

You will be a member of an agile scrum team designing and developing components of our architecture. Some of your day to day responsibilities include:

Full stack development including programming in Java/Spark, designing tables in big data using HBase/Hive/Impala, Working in messaging setup using Kafka to name a few.

Be part of our CI/CD/DevOps team to automate end to end code integration into cloud and non-cloud technologies

Building expertise in data models for trades and their use in reporting.

Performance tuning applications and components in big data stack

Developing end to end regression test automation in addition to unit and functional testing

Successful Candidates::

Experienced working across large environments with multiple operating
systems/infrastructure for large-scale programs starting to be firm-wide resources
working on projects across Banking

Multi-skilled with expertise across software development lifecycle and toolset

Sought out as coach for at least one technical skill

Will have strong understanding of techniques such as Continuous Integration, Continuous
Delivery, Test Driven Development, Cloud Development, resiliency, and security

Will stay abreast of cutting edge technologies/trends and uses experience to influence application of those technologies/trends to support the business.

Required Skills:

Hands on experience in technologies like Spark, Kafka and Storm to name a few.

Strong experience with big data and Hadoop

Experience with Unix/Linux and shell scripting

Masters or Bachelors in Computer Science

2+ years' experience in building applications in Java

Strong in Object Oriented Development and Java Programming.

Strong CS fundamentals, data structures, algorithms with good understanding of Object-
Oriented Design Principles, architecture and prevalent design patterns

Excellent communication skills are a must for this position

Desired Skills:

Experience with caches, multi-threaded design principles and concurrency is a big plus.

Experience with Agile Scrum process, test driven development and continuous integration (Jenkins) is a big plus.
