Business Process Analyst

The Business Process Analyst will coordinate all Financial paperwork and follow up for project finances.

This position will be responsible for Financial Metrics and monitoring of project finances from Budget through project completion and closure.

This position will be responsible for Financial Metrics and monitoring of project finances from Budget through project completion and closure.

This position will coordinate all activity required from Project Management Office, Product support and Implementation Areas, The Budget Office and others involved.

Project Managers and Product Support Managers who are managing the individual projects will be responsible for providing updates and detailed information to the Consultant.

The BPA is responsible for the accuracy and processing of the Initiative Approval Request (IAR) which is the MMC budget process to obtain budget funding.

The process identifies any capital needs and other additional dollars allocated to various departments.

The BPA will be meeting with the Project Office to assure compliance with the Accounting Department and Budget office.

• Research and implement an electronic tracking workflow that interfaces to SAP system.

• Maintain and track with Budget and Project Office on the IAR, Capital Expenditure Request (CER) and Purchase Orders (PO) Processes.

• Track and maintain copies of all IAR's and CER's in an electronic structure.

• Tracking workflow and processing of all related documentation for IAR and CER's.

• Working with Business Intelligence area to develop a reporting dashboard for capital expenditures.

• Track and maintain spending status to produce applicable reports.

• Communicate with the Budget office for all capital budget projections against the strategic plan.

• Identify risks, propose recommendations and solutions to issues.

• Implement solutions for problem resolution.

• Ability to analyze, interpret data and make recommendations

• Accurately assesses problems and effectively arrives at solutions

• Provide financial tracking and maintenance support to Project Managers.

• Work with Project Managers and Product Managers to obtain details and accurate input to project cost.

• Generate Financial Reports and Metrics for tracking individual and aggregate project status and budget status and projections.

• Liaison between budget area and project office.

III. Experience Requirements:

• 3-5 plus years Business experience in process improvement, lean or similar structure methodology.

Understanding of Six Sigma or Lean Methodologies, any certifications are ideal
Understanding of GAAP and Financial Accounting Systems
• Understanding of financial accounting systems, preferably SAP

• Experience in Project management, analysis and reporting

• Strong analytical and project management skills and overall business acumen with the ability to find the simplest, best path to solutions

• Analyze financial data

• Understanding of Executive Dashboards

• Proficient in Microsoft Office

• Healthcare experience is a plus

• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills

• Bachelor's degree in Finance

• MBA in Finance or Analytics related field.

Experience in an ERP Environment , preferably SAP
