Job Description

Infinity Consulting Solutions (ICS) is seeking a Project Manager for a client of ours in the Jersey City area.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Coordinating upgrades to vendor platforms

2. Managing production issues and project issues

3. Interfacing with platform users (e.g. Financial Advisors, Supervisory Managers, Home Office) to triage issues and develop solutions to various requirements.

4. Managing the day-to-day technical work across both internal and vendor teams

5. Interfacing with Business partners to define and understand platform requirements

6. Being a technical BA and project manager to translate business requirements to technical solution by working with various technical resources and business owners

7. Estimation of work efforts across internal and external (vendor) teams

8. Knowledgeable or experience of LongView vendor product

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree with 7+ years of experience in software development

5+ years of experience in vendor integration and management

Demonstrated design & delivery of software with a "Client First perspective

Prior experience working at a large tier global financial institution

Excellent analytical and communication skills with the ability to communicate complex
issues in an easy to understand manner

Creative problem solver and solution developer when presented with conflicting requirements, business demands and technical risks/issues

Required Skills

Hands on experience with vendor based portfolio management platforms, electronic trading, and pre/post-trade compliance modules (Long View Trading System LVTS preferred; Client APL; Vestmark; Envestnet; Aladdin)

Strong communication and project management skills.

Agile project management (JIRA)

Thorough understanding of trading products such as equities, ETFs, options, and Mutual Funds

Basic RDBMS experience (SQL Server, Sybase and/or DB2)

Preferred Skills:

Knowledgeable or experience of LongView vendor product

Experience with supporting web based financial platforms at a large financial institution

Understanding of the Private Banking and/or the Wealth Management business

Understanding of Managed/Discretionary Products

Hands on experience with Windows Server

Hands on experience with Linux shell scripting

Hands on experience with ASP.NET

Hands on experience with Job scheduler (Autosys, Control M, etc)

Knowledge of FIX messaging
