.NET/MVC DEVELOPER

Seeking an experienced .NET/MVC Developer to join an established and growing team that is developing the next generation of the company's eCommerce architecture.

As a .NET/MVC Developer, you will become part of an innovative eCommerce team responsible for delivering solutions built for sustainability and performance.

You will collaborate closely with product managers, testers and other software engineers to design, test, code, deliver and maintain software modules within an Agile Scrum environment via website architecture built on a cloud infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and implement solutions using C#, ASP.NET (MVC and WebForms), and
Javascript Frameworks as your tools and Visual Studio 2015 as your environment.

Conceive and build unit testable solutions for our website applications.

Participate in technical design meetings with other developers and assist in defining the system architecture and choosing technologies.

Work on a cross-disciplinary Agile team to develop, estimate, test, and maintain our websites, while collaborating with team members on product backlog grooming, sprint planning, execution, review, and retrospective.

Work directly with business stakeholders to understand requirements and communicate progress.

Be an active contributor to back-end development practices and code reviews.

Update and maintain site documentation.

Communicate effectively and efficiently with all associates and business contacts and promote a strong sense of teamwork.

Requirements:

3+ years with C#, ASP.NET, MVC with a preferred focus on e-commerce solutions.

Web development experience

MVC experience

SQL experience

Understanding of Dependency Injection frameworks

Javascript/Jquery competency

Agile/Scrum experience

Ability to contribute in a collaborative development environment

Understanding of HTTP protocol

Passing understanding of Design patterns

Understanding of Object-Relational Mapping (ORM's)

Ability to take instruction from code reviews.

Demonstrate an ability to write maintainable, easy to understand code.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Nice to have:

Knowledge of Jira

Unit test experience

GIT Experience

React Experience

E-Commerce experience

NoSQL experience (redis/mongo/couchbase)

Analysis and Troubleshooting experience

WebAPI experience

Open Web Security Protocol (OWASP) compliance understanding / threats
