Job Description
IT Risk Analyst
Key responsibilities include:
Ensure assessment deliverable dates are met by the responsible party
Conduct Information Security, Information Technology, Cyber Security, System Risk, System
Contingency Planning, Risk Control Self, Onsite and other IT risk assessments
Manage IT Key Risk and Key Risk Indicator Assessments across IT entities
Perform IT Risk Acceptance assessments to ensure proper risk identification and control mitigation
Engage key stakeholders to identify, assess, monitor and mitigate risks during assessment process
Understand IT processes and review responses in details provided by stakeholders to ensure proper risk rating
Document observations for existing IT control processes and identified issues in assessment questionnaire during tabletop exercises
Discuss findings with stakeholders and follow up on agreed upon action plans and target completion dates
Understand cross-functional impact of proposed technology solutions and identifying areas of efficiency
Provide appropriate information share and updates with senior management and other key stakeholders
Performing various IT Risk assessments and other projects defined by the manager
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree, Experience in managing the completion of assessments is essential. PMP not required but desired
Minimum of 5 years of experience and track record of delivery of major risk and finance initiatives at large and complex financial institutions.
Minimum of 5 years in performing IT assessments
Solid understanding of project life cycle AND risk management concepts and processes.
Strong IT Risk management skills
Strong business, analytical, quantitative, problem-solving and decision making skills
Self-started, able to work with limited instructions
Exceptional stakeholder management skills including experience liaising with both internal clients and external vendors who are performing services
Superior communication skills: both written and oral with technical and non-technical staff
Tolerance and understanding in multi cultures.
Working knowledge of Archer tool
