IT Project Manager – Insurance / Business Transformation

New York City, NY

6+ month contract with chance of extension

We need a Senior Project Manager to support 1-2 Transformation Projects.

This PM has to have proven experience managing projects that are business or transformation related since they'll probably be managing the tasks related to HR, Comms, PR, Legal, Finance etc. and handling the overall forecasts, funding requests, updates to senior management, etc.

They should know MS Project and can have IT experience

We don't want someone who has only worked on IT projects (i.e., server replacements, upgrades, large IT implementations, etc.)

someone who can span 2-3 projects that are similar and possibly interdependent depending the approach

The person will be paired with an IT PM, and their primary responsibility will be for the business-side deliverables, milestones, etc.

In addition to strong PM skills (MS Project, issues/risk escalation, etc.) they will be responsible for the overall project(s)l financials, status reports, etc. so they need to have excellent financial and communication skills.
