Android Developer
(Position Responsibilities:
Develop and implement a proprietary Android implementation through software development using the latest releases of Android on the latest hardware in use in the mobile industry
Design appropriate solution to ensure the highest degree of performance, stability, and application security
Play a key role in design sessions, providing expert input, suggestions, and advice on application design
Ensure product quality
Ability to solve bugs quickly and efficiently
Ensure the highest level of usability, desirability, and customer satisfaction
Skills Required:
5+ years of industry experience as an embedded software developer with specific focus on embedded application development
Prior experience with embedded Linux software development
Expert in Java, C and C++ programming languages
Experience with device drivers, particularly with the video and audio rendering pipeline in consumer electronics
This position requires a solution-focused thinker who can pro-actively communicate and lead in creative, business, and technical discussions
Ability to multi-task and work efficiently in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment
while maintaining attention to detail
Strong verbal and written communication and negotiation skills
Prior experience with Android Development
Bachelors or advanced degree in software engineering
Qualifications:
Candidate must understand business processes, be a detailed-oriented person and quickly grasp new concepts.
Additionally the candidate will have strong presentation, interpersonal, software development and work management skills
