Contract Opportunity

Database Programmer needed for a client in donwtown Denver on a contract basis.

This person will be responsible consulting with users to identify current operating procedures and clarify program objectives.

Also will develop databases from project specifications and statement of problem and procedures to create or modify computer data base programs applying knowledge of programming techniques and computer systems.

Plan, coordinate, and implement security measures to safeguard computer databases.

Requirements:

- Oracle, DB2, Sybase, SQL Server and/or Informix.

- Linux, and decision support systems such as COGNOS or Client.

- Experience coordinating changes to computer databases as well as testing and implementing the database systems.

- Ability to illustrate sequence of steps a program must follow and to describe logical operations involved.

- Basic knowledge of Desktop End User working environment.

- Advanced knowledge of Excel including formulas, Pivot Tables and macros.

- Basic knowledge of google drive.
