    DESKTOP SUPPORT – TIER 1

    A global professional services firm is looking for an experienced Desktop Support Specialist to join their Tier 1 support team.

    The Desktop Support specialist will primarily be responsible for laptop imaging and configuration work.

    The ideal candidate will have a broad technical skillset and the ability to function independently with little supervision.

    Responsibilities:

    Providing on-site and remote support

    Testing a large number of term laptops for defects and processing through repair

    Testing and updating the standard laptop image that is used for laptop deployments

    Advanced technical troubleshooting of hardware and software issues

    Document and train on common issue resolution

    Appropriately handle and track customer support requests via phone, e-mail, voice mail, IM, and in-person

    Track and maintain end-user technology equipment

    Support of various devices running operating systems such as Windows 7, Mac OS, iOS, and Android



    Requirements:

    Bachelor's degree

    1+ years' experience in a Tier 1 help desk and/or PC Support role in an enterprise environment

    PC Imaging experience is required

    Windows 7 and Windows 10 exposure

    Knowledge off MS Office products: Office 365, Outlook, Skype for Business, OneDrive

    MacOS

    Troubleshooting of Lenovo hardware

    Must be able to interact with customers of all levels in the organization

    Excellent verbal and written communication skills with technical and non-technical staff and end-users

    Excellent customer service skills, including empathic listening skills

    Must be a motivated self-starter able to work independently and also in a team environment

    Strong follow-up skills to see tasks through to resolution, and communicate problem status to end users such as notification of completion, notification of delay, and explaining rationale

    Excellent organizational skills, prioritizing and managing multiple tasks
