Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Demonstrates database technical functionality, such as performance, security and reliability.

Maintains and troubleshoots issues within Prod, QA, and Developer environments.

Deploy code into Production.

Designs database applications, such as interfaces, data transfer mechanisms, global temporary tables, data partitions, and function-based indexes to enable efficient access of the generic database structure.

Designs databases to support business applications, ensuring system scalability, security, performance and reliability.

Additionally, ensures SOX and SOC audit compliance for relevant and applicable controls.

Collaborates with other technical staff to understand business or industry requirements.
Develops database architectural strategies at the modeling, design and implementation stages to address business or industry requirements.

Must be self-motivated and team player.

Must have hands-on experience in Hyperion Planning, Essbase Studio.

Exposure to Oracle EBS R12, SSO, Weblogic, OAM, Microsoft AD, Quest STAT, Oracle standby with data guard, Oracle RAC, RMAN, PCP, Sabrix, GRC, OBIEE, OBIA, Informatica preferred.

Performs daily operations support functions, backup, cloning and recovery, including problem isolation and resolution.

Documents processes, procedures, configurations, secure transmissions, and deployment plans.

Must be available for on-call support 24 X 7 on rotation basis.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related technical field required.

5 years Database Engineering experience required with 5 years of Oracle EBSR12 preferred.

5 years related experience in Oracle BI (OBIEE, OBIA, Informatica/ODI) preferred.

5 years related experience in Hyperion Essbase and Planning preferred.
