Job Description

Data Visualization Expert

Data Visualization expert to design advanced dashboards and graphics for internal and

external client use. In this position, you will be working on a variety of analytics projects for and

its clients to raise their decision making and predictive analytics capabilities to a higher level. You will

use innovative technologies, follow the latest BI trends and approaches

Primary Responsibilities

· Develop new capabilities for including company-wide dashboards and external presentation

visualizations, with a focus on Microsoft products including PowerBI and SharePoint.

· Innovate with merging technologies, such as D3, HighCharts, HTML5 and JavaScript, with traditional

BI tools to create truly unique solutions.

· Work closely with other Data Insights & Analytics team members to present the information/insights

from data and/or analytical models created by the team.

· Engage with business users to gather data requirements, design visualizations and train on use of

self-service BI tools.

· Research, analyze, and gather information from a variety of sources, including vendor databases,

primary sources, website sources to create forward-looking data visualizations.

· Assist with data cleansing and transforming of legacy system data.

Required Skills

· Expert level in data visualization and business intelligence tools such as Power BI, Tableau and Qlik.

· Experience with working in cloud platforms (Azure) strongly preferred.

· Intermediate level in MS Excel with knowledge in VBA and macros for data cleansing.

· Intermediate level in database modeling, such as PowerPivot, MS Access or SQL.

· Experience with HTML5, JavaScript, Agile methodology, R, Python knowledge a plus.

Education and Experience

· Graduate from at least a 4-year course related to Management, Industrial Engineering, Management

Engineering, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science or Information Systems.

· At least 2+ years of experience working in relevant areas.

· Experience with the legal and/or insurance industries a plus.
