SQL Database & Systems Administrator
Our client is expanding their IT team and looking for a SQL DBA Systems Administrator.
Will assist in the designing and maintaining their databases and support of the growing technical infrastructure.
Responsibilities
Upgrade, install, patch, migrate, administer and troubleshoot Microsoft SQL servers and databases.
Work with team to assist in SQL development of applications and ensure high performance.
Monitoring, analysis, and performance tuning at both the system and application levels.
Troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve reported issues ensuring timely resolution and end-user satisfaction
Continually improve database administration standards, guidelines, and procedures
Communicate, coordinate, and support various teams for IT projects.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or MIS or equivalent experience
Strong technical background in windows system environment
Experience with Microsoft SQL Database Administration
Knowledge of and ability to troubleshoot problems in Windows Servers, Databases,
Networks, Firewalls, and Applications
Understanding of Azure
Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time and shift priorities quickly
Strong analytic, problem solving, issue resolution and facilitation skills.
