Job Description
Payroll & Administrative Clerk
Responsibilities:
Hours 8am-530pm with 1/2 hour unpaid lunch, however staff is expected to complete all duties prior to finishing the day
Process Payroll for 1500+ employees with one other team member
Work hand in hand with other team member to finish all necessary daily/ weekly duties
Administer wage garnishments, employment verifications, and child support
Set up direct deposit per employee request
Process direct deposit for staff members
Process background checks for employees
Communicate with customers on any time approvals, discrepancies, and pay increases
Set up customers in the system with appropriate assignments - pay rates, bill rates, and work comp codes
Communicate with salespersons and then communicate with customers on new account set-ups and invoicing format
Report to General Manager on any tasks that need to be completed
Resolve payroll discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information.
Provide payroll information by answering questions and requests.
Maintain payroll operations by following policies and procedures; reporting needed changes.
Maintain employee confidence and protects payroll operations by keeping information confidential.
Oversee branch managers and recruiters to ensure all employees had been assigned and assigned correctly
Preferred Qualifications
Bi-Lingual, English and Spanish
2-4 years Payroll experience in the Staffing industry (Light industrial preferred due to high pace of position)
Experience with Avionte or other staffing software systems for, front and back office operations
Administrative Assistant
