Database Engineer
Our client is looking for a Database BI Engineer for their expanding operations & growth. Exciting opportunity to help build, design, support the data solutions.
The candidate will have strong technical, analytical and communication skills to engage with customers & internal members.
Qualifications & Skills
Understanding of Data Warehouse and ETL skills
Strong knowledge in writing SQL queries on Teradata/SQL/ Oracle DB
Strong hands-on experience in UNIX Scripting
Knowledge on Vertica, GG and Hadoop is a plus
Experience in administering BI tools like Cognos or QlikView is a plus
Experience in monitoring Production Jobs and performing RCA
Hands on experience in in Informatica server administration and ability to install, upgrade within environment
Strong Customer facing experience
Experience working in Production environment and supporting the Customer
Strong analytical skills and troubleshooting skills
Possess leadership skills with ability to lead team members and projects.
Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment
Excellent communication skills and experience providing customer support
Experience documenting issues and clearly communicating their resolution
Effective presentation of facts, figures, models, and technical concepts
