Job Description
Our client is seeking an exceptional Information Security Engineer to join its IT Security Team.
Reporting to an IT Security Leader, this person will join a highly collaborative team responsible for leading the implementation of complex security solutions.
The ideal candidate will have experience working closely with development, product and platform teams to engineer and implement cloud security controls within Azure.
Specific Responsibilities Include
Evaluate security technologies for cloud environments to implement controls in a streamlined and integrated manner
Design and implement cloud based DevSecOps processes and tools
Implement automated approach to delivering key security management processes
Develop procedures to automate security tasks during build and deployment
Assist and train team members in the use of cloud security tools and the resolution of security issues
Communicate security risks and solutions to business partners, platform & product teams
Assist in designing and supporting the overall security architecture of the enterprise systems environment
Skills & Experience Required
Bachelor's degree with a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, EE or comparable discipline preferred
Three plus years of hands on experience working with cloud implementations
Five plus years of hands on experience in an IT Security discipline
One or more security certifications preferred (CISSP, CCSP, GSEC, GPEN, GWAPT)
Extensive knowledge with relevant experience in at least five of the following categories:
Third party connectivity architecture and design
DMZ network segmentation design best practices
Intrusion Detection/Prevention System tuning
Security hardening techniques
Application firewall design
Antivirus / Endpoint protection design and implementation
Vulnerability scanning lifecycle management
Penetration testing remediation
Proxy architecture / design
Application security and testing
Cloud security
Broad knowledge of diagramming and monitoring tools
