SENIOR SOFTWARE DEVELOPER - REACT/NODE

North Dallas, TX

6+ month contract to hire

We are hiring for a tech savvy, creative and outgoing Senior Software Developer who is willing to roll up your sleeves and get things done in a start-up environment.

The Senior Developer (React Native, Node, & Web) is responsible for designing and developing native mobile, web portal, front - end, shared service (microservices), back - end application data sources, and third - party cloud platform integrations.

This includes producing technical design artifacts, developing and testing application, service, and component code, supporting the testing, change and release, and production operation of the code.

What You’ll Do:

Develop native mobile applications, web portals, and integration services using modern web technology platforms and frameworks, specifically React Native, React, and Node

Participate in design, development and deployment transition of APIs and/or microservices to integrate across multiple new and existing mobile and web applications

Provide input and guidance on architecture, design patterns, platform and tools evaluation, selection and implementation

Provide technical leadership and collaborate with other team members across engineering, product, customer support, and others

Mentor junior developers

Work in an Agile and Scrum environment

Write clean, modular and reusable code using design patterns

Skills/Experience You’ll Need:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or other technical discipline, or equivalent experience

4+ years of experience building enterprise class mobile and web apps

4 years of experience with React and Node

Deep knowledge of JavaScript

Native mobile development experience with React Native

Web portal development experience with React

Experience writing client - side JavaScript using React, React Native, Redux (or equivalent technologies)

Solid understanding of CSS and rendering engine differences

Experience with native mobile platform and modern browser technologies

Working knowledge with GraphQL is a plus

Experience with APIs and microservice patterns

Web services development experience with Node

Experience with modern relational and non-relational database platforms

Experience with Git (and Git-Flow patterns)

Good UX and design sensibilities

Excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and self - motivated

Ability to operate in an Agile, entrepreneurial start-up environment.
