QUALITY ASSURANCE ENGINEER Plano, TX 6+ month contract to hire We are hiring a QA Engineer with Selenium experience for a FinTech client in Plano. What You'll Do: Test multiple complex applications and provides subject matter expertise to set direction and create test strategies and test plans for one or more releases of an application. Participate in cross-functional discussions to review the impact of application changes from both internal and external interfaces on the quality of their applications.· Work with application development teams to participate in solution design to ensure testability of functions and applications. Identify areas for improving efficiency,shortening of test cycles, and automation of test scripts Facilitate implementation of automated test scripts. Has significant interaction with internal customers. Skills/Experience You'll Need: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, MIS or another relative field 5+ years of Quality Assurance testing 2+ years of experience with Selenium Experience with Cucumber and/or Gherkin highly preferred Java experience preferred Excellent communication skills for both internal and external customers Financial Industry experience a plus
