Job Description
Project Manager
4-5 Month Contract (potential to extend or convert)
Downtown Denver, ASAP Start!
Technical Project Manager needed to help run several projects simultaneously from identifying resources and establishing tasks and supporting an estimation of timeline, to ensuring the timely delivery of those tasks and on-time delivery of projects.
Ideal candidates will have a proven track record of successful completion of projects under them, as well as experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
Stable and growing company. An opportunity to work with some autonomy and really make an impact from a PM standpoint.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in Engineering, Technology or related field
- Minimum 5+ years of project management experience, preferably IT Project Management
- Minimum 3+ years experience coordinating and/supporting IT business processes
- Scheduling and task management experience
- PMP is preferred; experience with MS Project is preferred
Responsibilities:
- Define requirements and establish tasks for several simultaneous projects
- Identify resources and schedule for project/program implementation
- Plan and schedule project deliverables, goals, and milestones
- Manage day-to-day operational aspects of a project
- Direct and oversee project teams and proactively manage conflicts
- Communicate well with stakeholders, project participants, and upper management
- Manage change orders, customer expectations, and deliverables
- Design and maintain technical and project documentation
- Strong organizational, presentation, and customer service skills
