We are hiring a Senior Embedded Software Engineer for a technology solutions company in the North Plano/Allen area! The Senior Embedded Software Engineer must have a passion for innovation, technology, overall quality.
What You’ll Do:
Embedded software development in modern C++11/14/17.
Deliver embedded code, unit and integration test scripts using TDD approach.
Utilize GoogleTest for unit testing.
Work with test automation framework in a multistage CI process. Robot Framework
Automation
Understand and contribute Robot and Python scripts supporting test automation.
Work in Agile execution mode sharing equal responsibilities in design, testing, and debugging.
Document ideas, APIs and important details on Confluence and JIRA to provide transparency of ideas, plans, proposals, decisions and progress.
Skills/Experience You’ll Need:
Must have a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science or Electrical
Engineering.
3+ years of development experience with C++ and C++ compilers from 2014/2017
Experience developing software for Linux devices/appliances
Experience with one or more of the following:
Debugging in Linux environments
TDD - Test Driven Development
Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment approach (CI/CD)
Agile/Scrum processes
Software Engineers, Applications
Information Technology
No Preference
