Risk Advisory - Senior Associate

Dallas – Fort Worth, TX

Responsibilities

Review multiple engagements and other client assignments within risk advisory

Execute documentation in assigned areas using the COSO internal control framework

Develop thorough understanding of professional standards and their relation to advisory services with the ability to research issues and provide management with information conclusions

Utilize knowledge of controls, SOX and audit to complete engagements effectively

Complete work accurately and promptly, assist in engagement planning

Incorporate knowledge of financial reporting, audit, transaction cycles and business processes

Perform and deliver work independently without significant supervision

Ability to plan, perform and deliver work independently on large complex engagements

Direct and mentor associates across multiple concurrent projects

Advanced understanding of operations, accounting systems and industries

Requirements

3-5 years of experience (public/external audit/ internal audit)

Bachelor's degree – Accounting, Finance, MIS or related field

Master's degree (preferred)

CIA, CPA, or CIA, CPA candidate

Familiarity with GAAP, IIA, GAAS

Excellent written and verbal communication
