Job Description
Responsibilities will include:
As a member of an agile Infrastructure engineering team, you will be responsible for simulating JIRA use cases and add-ons. Convert these simulations into automated tests
using tools like Selenium.
You will be responsible for executing test cases for each JIRA release; publish results and review with JIRA engineering team and product owner
Coordinating and supporting the JIRA engineering team in writing new test cases as the product evolves or new features are introduced.
Identification, tracking, escalation and closure of project risks and issues
Lead internal improvement efforts focusing on improving platform performance
Qualifications:
4+ years of experience in testing with automated testing tools preferably Selenium
Experience of designing, creating & consuming REST APIs and documenting using open API specification tools, e.g. swagger
Unix Shell and/or PowerShell scripting
Experience with using Continuous Integration/Delivery frameworks
Experience in managing code using Version Control Systems e.g. Git
Working knowledge of JMeter, Blaze meter and Load Runner
Working knowledge of Atlassian toolsets for software development (Jira, BitBucket & Confluence)
Working knowledge of Agile software development practices
An understanding & practical working knowledge of distributed Operating Systems (Unix/Linux & Windows)
Experience using & integrating software with security and entitlements systems such as SSO, LDAP, AD
