Job Description

The Business Intelligence Analyst is responsible for all aspects of the BI lifecycle including requirements gathering, design and development of quality business intelligence solutions that will improve business insights and/or processes.

This senior level position will serve as a team lead and project manager as directed by the BI Manager.

This position is also responsible for staying current on the latest technologies with regard to business intelligence and data management.

Main Responsibilities

Full BI lifecycle - Requirements gathering, Design, Development, and Support for Business Intelligence (BI) solutions using the Microsoft 2016 BI Platform. (SSRS, SSIS, SSAS, T-SQL, Power BI, Power View PowerPivot)

Support and SQL development of future enhancements for the in-house SQL data aggregation engine.

Lead select BI initiatives.

Establish and maintain strong working relationships with colleagues and key business users in cross-functional areas.

Demonstrate high level of integrity and initiative in work.

Perform other duties as required.

Experience Required

5+ years of experience in data warehouse support and development.

4+ years of experience with the Microsoft BI stack 2012+ SSIS/SSRS/T-SQL: writing queries, procedures, and functions.

Experience supporting and developing ETL processes.

Experience working with data visualization tools such as DOMO, Tableau, and PowerBI.

Proficient communicating with non-technical users regarding technical issues.

Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.

Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.

Experience with Data modeling and ERD tools.

Preferred: SSAS, K2, .NET, Data Warehouse Architecture using the Kimball methodology.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or MIS, or equivalent experience.
