Job Description
BUSINESS ANALYST
Seeking an experienced Business Analyst to work on the internal team for a professional services organization.
The Business Analyst will assist the Marketing Operations team to help interview and document a current and future state of internal communications and to help support the implementation of a new communications platform.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in gathering requirtements, documentation and working with data. Excellent communication skills are required.
Responsibilities
Conducts data gathering and analysis to understand business strategy requirements.
Assesses client needs utilizing a structured requirements process (gathering, analyzing, documenting, and managing changes) to assist in identifying business priorities, and may advise on options.
Develops, writes, and communicates business requirements and functional specifications for the implementation of business solutions.
May analyze client operations to understand their strengths and weaknesses to determine opportunities for improvements.
Documents current business processes and models.
May assist in the business process redesign
Provides assistance in business case development (i.e., research, data collection).
Assists with the investigation and statement of problems.
Escalates issues as appropriate.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree preferred
3-5 years of Business Analysis experience in a professional setting
Professional Services Industry experience desired
Understanding of marketing is helpful
Strong skills with MS Word, Excel and Powerpoint
