Our client is executing an ongoing program of work to extend the capabilities of the Credit Risk platform to meet external regulatory requirements, and internal Risk Management requirements.

This is a Senior Business Analyst position within Credit Risk IT.

The successful candidate will provide hands on technical business analysis and project management coverage for Credit Risk IT deliverables, working closely with senior colleagues in New York, London, and Budapest as well as globally distributed development and testing teams.

This position offers an intellectually stimulating environment interacting with senior risk managers, market risk modelers and IT managers, and offers exposure to a wide variety of financial products

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide support of the Credit Risk Management Technology platform which calculates risk metrics and regulatory and economic capital

• Manage the project lifecycle including creation of business requirements, functional specification document, process designs, data flows, prototyping, testing, training, and defining support and capacity management procedures

• Lead User Acceptance testing

• Manage interactions with internal clients/sponsors, Credit IT development and QA teams, Firm Risk IT, and other technology teams within the Firm

• Perform various PMO related tasks to facilitate project planning, reporting, and status tracking for programs of work

Skills Required (essential):

• Experience with relational database schemas and SQL

• Experience working closely with IT development teams through all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle

• Advanced PC skills, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

• Excellent presentation skills including oral and written communication skills

• Experience with credit risk management systems and/or strong knowledge of risk concepts

• Strong analytic and problem solving skills

• Degree in Engineering or Finance
