FINANCIAL ANALYST

Atlanta, GA

4-6 month contract

What You'll Do:

Provides daily support for financial and accounting team. Helps maintain general ledger accounts, balance and close accounts, and conduct analysis for FMP team.

Typical task include researching payment/reimbursement information to ensure compliance with established procedures, processing vendor payments and employee reimbursements, verifying vendor information, etc.

Provides customer support to internal and external customers by addressing customer inquiries.

Investigates customer questions, conducts analysis, and escalates complex issues to senior analysts or department management.

Assists with application testing, researching, account reconciliation and assist the Accounting Business Analyst with more complex related issues.

Compiles data for management reviews, provides input on procedural improvements and assists with the implementation of these changes and assists with various testing.

Collects data for operational status updates, audit reviews and unit metrics report.

Assists other analysts and management with basic data analysis for report and project preparation as needed

Skills/Experience You'll Need:

Bachelor's Degree or 4 years equivalent experience; Bachelor's Degree preferred.

Less than two years across the following areas:

Basic Accounting
