Key Job Requirements:

• Develop, implement and support SAS code in Oracle, Unix environment.

• Design and develop stored procedures, SAS Macros, UNIX shell scripts to trigger SAS jobs, update Oracle/Teradata using SAS/ACCESS and create Flat files for SFTP transmissions.

• Extraction of data from Oracle, Teradata and creating SAS datasets. Performing data validation and data transformation (ETL).

• Generate and analyze ad hoc reports and control reporting for daily monitoring as per dynamic business needs using SAS.

• Develop procedures to fully automate the execution, monitoring and issue reporting for all production processes.

• Develop SAS Macros to Automate daily/weekly/monthly jobs and reduction of program length for faster execution.

• Participate in application security reviews and address all identified issues.

• Participate in project planning sessions with business analysts to analyze business requirements and outline proposed system solutions.

Required Skills

· 6+ years of system development experience in a SAS environment.

· 6+ years experience with Unix operating system.

· 6+ years experience developing SQL code in an Oracle environment.

· Development using Control M/Autosys job scheduler is a major plus.

· Experience in all aspects of system development life cycle.

· Expert level skills in SAS/BASE, SAS/GRAPH, SAS/STAT, SAS/CONNECT, SAS/ACCESS, SAS/ODS, SAS/SQL, SAS ENETRPRISE GUIDE AND SAS/MACRO.

· Experience developing Unix Shell scripts for SAS control Reporting, Automated File Transfers, Error Handling and Oracle Load utility.

· Experience with source code management tools including Subversion (SVN) and GIT.

· Experience with Agile/Scrum Methodology.

The ideal candidate would also have experience with:

• Deep understanding and ability to architect object oriented (OO) solutions to complex problems and experienced in utilizing design patterns.

• Experience with Apex

• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) and computer science foundations, such as memory management and low-level algorithm performance.

• Knowledge of .Net, ASP.NET, and Visual Studios
